Autumn Kellam Educator and Painter
I am from rural Northeastern Pennsylvania and upstate New York where I'm a painter and art educator. I'm a Keystone College Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education K-12. I recently finished student teaching at Preston Area School in the Wayne Highlands school district. I instructed students from K-8 in visual arts and STEAM. I finished my secondary education apprenticeship at Mountain View Junior Senior High School. I was educating grades 8-12 in visual arts and preparing them for college portfolio reviews. My artwork is influenced by being raised around barn fowl and having a close relationship with her nephew and niece. I use symbolism as well as my collections of objects for inspiration for my artwork. My work is Contemporary and trompe l’oeil. My most recent show is the Keystone College Senior Exhibition: Reverie, in Artworks Gallery and Studio. I will be exhibiting with 14 of my fellow classmates.
